2025 is almost up, the year has come to an end; yet, you still have items on your vision board that were not realised. For some of us, faith seems bleak, hope may be lost and the will to push forward almost dead… Oh but my love, 2026 can get better. A shift is possible for you, and I would like to show you how. So, grab a cup of coffee; you can do water, coffee just sounds more fancy, lol, and let us playback the year to make sure we’re ready for the next.
Today’s devotion will focus on Luke 5:4-6
We are at the end of 2025. This means even if we prayed, cried, and fasted, we can’t possibly take back time. We can’t add to the year that was. Like the disciples, they had toiled all night and still caught no fish. This is me saying, it’s okay! Acknowledge the effort that came with year. Celebrate your attempts and how you put in the work. Don’t be hard on yourself and wonder if you could’ve done more. The bible says, “who by worrying, can add a single day to their life?”. This is to show that worry and anxiety have no return. Place your hand on your heart and close your eyes. Take a deep breath for me and say “We made it through this year. We did our best and that was enough”.
Now that we have taken in the year that was, I want us to also prepare for the year that is. Beloved, if we are going to trust God to bring certain visions or items to pass, we need to ensure that the items align. Before you make a vision plain or write it down, you need to first hear what He says. Habbakuk said in v 1 of chapter 2, “I will stand watch to hear…” As we prepare for 2026, before we write the vision down, take time to listen. Ask Him what His plans for you are in the new year. Enquire and jot down what you hear or what is impressed. This is a key factor to answered prayers because God will always watch over His word to perform or bring it to pass.
For some of us, the visions are pending an instruction we received a while ago. We are faced with items He has already impressed, a vision He has already given. In 2026, cast your net again. Believe God again. Believing Him may be hard when you have waited and tried in your own strength. Like the disciples, who were professional fishermen by the way, we sometimes rely on our expertise to walk out faith; it doesn’t work that way. Faith requires unwavering hope. You need to believe beyond YOUR ability to make it happen. Faith looks at the deadness of the situation and is still convinced of the possibility of a miracle. Why? Because He said so. And that is your word. That is the takeaway. I encourage you to believe again. On account of His word, cast the net into the right side and see if you won’t catch so much fish that your nets begin to break. Won’t He do it?
I am praying for you and trusting with you while we wait for God to do what only He can do.
I call you blessed.
All my love, Tsholofelo

Amen sis<3 Thank you for the reminder and encouragement to believe again…God is faithful; if He said so, it shall come to pass!
Awww I’m so proud of you friend 🤍. This is beautiful.
“…believing beyond your ability to make it happen”- may He help us!! Thank you for this word, so so timely for me.
Looking forward to more of the “this and that” ❤️
Amen…
May we seek to hear His Word to us and stand in faith for its fulfilment, against ALL odds. For when the time is right, the Lord will certainly do it.
